Rip and Backup Blu-ray to Solid State Drive

Solid-state storage is standard-issue for storing data in tablets and smartphones, where it's relied upon for its tiny size and power-sipping nature. Though SSD has no specific requirements for the file types stored on it, but commercial Blu-ray discs are usually encoded with heavy copy protections like AAC, BD+, CSS, Region, RCE, Sony ARccOS and PuppetLock.  In additional, when you play the backed up Blu-ray movies through SSD onto laptop or smartphones, you'll need to make the ripped Blu-ray videos compatible with the default media player as well. Steps to rip and copy Blu-ray contents onto SSD for easier playback

Step 1. Install and run the best Blu-ray to SSD converter, simply click the "load disc" button to load your Blu-ray movies into it. You can also load video_ts folders, ISO/IFO, DVD discs. At the bottom, you can select your desired subtitle and audio track.

Step 2. Click the the "Format" drop-down menu, choose a proper video formats like "H.264 MP4" MKV, AVI under "Common Video" main category as ouput format for SSD. Of course, you can choose the optimized preset for mainstreaming multimedia players like PS3/PS4, Samsung TV, HD Media Player, etc.

Tip-Advanced: Click the "Settings" button and customize proper video/audio parameters if necessary. Video size, bitrate and fame rate are flexible and can be adjusted as you like.

Step 3. When everything is ok, press the "Convert" button to rip and copy Blu-ray movies to SSD on PC. Once finished, locate the generated video in output folder.

Notice: Copy digital Blu-ray to SSD (installed or connected to computer) is workable as long as the computer comes with Blu-ray drive. If you’d like to copy Blu-ray video to SSD installed ultra-thin notebook, you can try two methods here:

1. Rip Blu-ray to general computer with Bluray-ROM drive and then copy the ripped Blu-ray videos to Ultrabook SSD with USB flash disk;
2. Rip Blu-ray to SSD added or connected to general computer, and then move or connect the Solid-State Drive with Blu-ray videos to Ultrabook for playback.
