How to Play Video_TS/ISO files on PS4/PS3
As we all know, PS4/PS3 is a home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. It not only can play games, but also is a multi-media player. However the wonderful game console seems to be far from perfectness with regard to the movie playback feature. For instance, chances are you have some files such as ISO, Video_TS or other "disk image" formats, and want to view them through PS4/PS3, you'll find that the amazing console PS4 or PS3 cannot accept these video files. In fact, the file like ISO or Video_TS, which is usually used for copy or backup the structure and the content from a DVD disc, is not supported by the Sony PS4 or PS3 basically. If you wish to play Video_TS/ISO files on PS4/PS3, you'd better convert them to PS4/PS3 compatible format initially. Here is the entire progress.
Although there are lots of applications available to convert and transcode these contents, in view of the best video quality, the fastest encoding speed and the most substantial price, here I strongly recommend you try the Brorsoft Video Converter Ultimate. This program features high efficiency and seamless conversion. By running it, there is no need to set the codec yourself, the program has the optimized preset for PS4 and PS3. If you're using a Mac, simply turn to iMedia Converter for Mac (El Capitan compatible), which has the same function as the Windows version.
How to Convert ISO/Video_TS to PS3/PS4 Compatible Format
Step 1. Import ISO/Video_TS files
On the program click on "File" button to upload your ISO, Video_TS files. Alternatively, you can directly drag and drop your ISO, Video_TS videos to the program.
Step 2 Select PS4 compatible video format
Click on the dropdown menu of "Format" and then move your pointer to "PSP/PS3". From the sub-list, the "PS3 Video(480P) MPEG-4(*.mp4)", "PS3 Video(720P) MPEG-4(*.mp4)", "PS3 Video(1080P) MPEG-4(*.mp4)" are all the friendly formats for both PS3 and PS4.
Tip: If the default video/parameters can't meet your needs, just click Settings icon to adjust the video codec, bitrate, frame rate, audio sample rate, etc to get a decent video as you want. In principle, the larger input values, the better output quality, but the corresponding larger file size.
Step 3. Begin the conversion
Now click on "Convert" button and your ISO/Video_TS video files will be converted to PS3/PS4 supported formats.
